The Jet DDS-237 Dual Drum Sander is an industrial-grade, high-capacity sanding solution engineered for precision finishing, levelling, and calibration of wide solid wood panels, furniture components, and construction materials. At the heart of the DDS-237 is a powerful 11,000W motor, providing exceptional torque and stability for demanding workloads and uninterrupted production. With an impressive maximum sanding width of 940 mm and a wide sanding thickness range, the DDS-237 is ideally suited for processing large panels, thick stock, and high-volume work with consistent, repeatable results.

The DDS-237 features a dual-drum sanding system, where the front drum can be equipped with a coarser abrasive for aggressive material removal, while the rear drum performs fine finishing using an independent micro-adjustment. This configuration allows both stock removal and surface finishing to be completed in a single pass, significantly increasing productivity and workflow efficiency.

A rubber-textile conveyor belt, driven by an independent motor with a two-speed gearbox, ensures smooth, controlled material feed. Three pressure rollers securely hold the workpiece against the conveyor, guaranteeing uniform thickness, stable tracking, and safe operation even with large or heavy workpieces.

Efficient dust control is achieved through dual dust extraction outlets, helping maintain a clean working environment while extending abrasive life and ensuring consistent sanding performance.

Designed for ease of use the sanding belt is fast and easy to change in under 2 minutes without any tools. With the machine you can use pre-cut sanding belts or you can easily cut right size of strips from a sandpaper roll.
