Promac GH-1880ZX DRO is a heavy-duty professional metal lathe designed for demanding machining, industrial maintenance and production applications. Combining a powerful drive system, massive cast-iron construction and an integrated 3-axis digital readout the GH-1880ZX delivers the capacity, rigidity and precision required for machining large and heavy components.

With a 460 mm swing over the bed and 2000 mm distance between centres this lathe is designed to handle larger and longer workpieces with ease. Its geared headstock provides a broad selection of spindle speeds, allowing the operator to select the appropriate speed and torque according to the material, workpiece diameter and cutting operation.

The integrated 3-axis DRO digital readout system provides clear and accurate position information, helping the operator achieve precise dimensions while reducing dependence on conventional handwheel graduations.

A massive cast-iron machine bed provides the rigidity and vibration resistance required when machining long and heavy components. Precision bedways ensure smooth carriage movement and help maintain machining accuracy throughout the machine’s extensive working length.

Longitudinal and cross power feeds provide consistent feed rates and improve productivity during longer machining operations. A comprehensive gearbox also provides convenient selection of feed rates and thread pitches.

Comes with ø 250 mm 3-jaw universal chuck, ø 300 mm 4-jaw independent chuck, ø 300 mm faceplate, coolant system, work light, four way tool post, steady rest, follow rest, set of change gears, MT-5 fixed centre, MT-5 live centre, threading dial and MT-5/MT-7 centre sleeve.
