Jet JWDS-1020 is a powerful and compact benchtop drum sander that allows you to easily sand thin veneers and pieces of wood up to 75mm (3″) thick and 508mm (20″) wide. The powerful 1HP motor quickly removes surface defects and marks left by the planer blades while giving a smooth finish to the wood. The self-cooling sanding drum will not burn, chop or tear the grain from the piece being sanded, which makes it an excellent choice for sanding end grain cutting boards and other hardwoods with complicated grain patterns.
Designed for ease of use the sanding belt is fast and easy to change in under 2 minutes without any tools. With the machine you can use pre-cut sanding belts or you can easily cut right size of strips from a sandpaper roll.

- Infinitely variable speed control for sanding and finishing different wood materials
- Conveyor belt is easy to set parallel to the sanding drum without any tools by simply turning a knob

- Instead of pushing the conveyor belt motor pulls the workpiece through, which improves the sanding results and reduces stress on the motor
- New patented dust hood design removes up to 97% of all dust when connected to a dust collector
- Heavy duty die-cast aluminum and steel body provides rigidity for consistent quality
- Sanding belt G80 pre-installed
