The Promac GHB-1340A DRO Metal Lathe is a robust and precise gear-head lathe designed for demanding metalworking applications. Combining heavy-duty construction, versatile speed and feed settings, and an integrated Digital Readout (DRO), the GHB-1340A provides the accuracy and control required for professional machining, maintenance workshops, fabrication and general engineering.

With approximately 330 mm swing over (13″) the bed and 1015 mm (40″) distance between centres the GHB-1340A offers a useful working capacity while maintaining a relatively compact footprint. The tailstock provides solid workpiece support and can also be used for drilling, reaming and other machining operations.

Built around a rigid cast-iron machine bed, the GHB-1340A provides excellent stability and vibration resistance during machining. The hardened and precision-ground bedways help maintain smooth carriage movement and consistent accuracy, while the powerful spindle drive provides dependable performance when turning a wide range of materials.

Comes with ø 160 mm 3-jaw universal chuck, ø 200 mm 4-jaw independent chuck, ø 300 mm faceplate, four way tool post, steady rest, follow rest, set of change gears, 2 x MT-3 fixed centres, threading dial and MT-3/MT-5 centre sleeve.
