Jet JPT-410HH Thickness Planer with Helical cutterhead is designed to provide unwavering precision, power and cutting quality for demanding woodworkers and professionals. With it’s 4500W motor and helical cutterhead this powerhouse planer transforms rough lumber into flawless boards with minimal tear-out.

Helical cutterhead is fitted with 72 four-sided, indexable carbide inserts arranged in a spiral pattern — which reduces noise and vibration while providing silky-smooth finish even in the toughest grain patterns.

Carbide inserts are tested to last up to 4000% longer than HSS blades so you don’t have to worry about replacing the blades in years. If one of the inserts gets damaged you can simply rotate the insert with included torx key and get back to work in seconds without the need of any time consuming adjustments.

Switching from jointing to thicknessing can be done in under 10 seconds. You only need to release the quick levers on both sides of the jointing tables, lift the tables up and turn the dust hood on top of the cutterhead and you’re ready to use the thicknesser. Changing from thicknessing to jointing is as fast and easy — no tools needed.

Machine comes assembled with complete cutterhead. Including push blocks, five (5) spare carbide inserts and torx key.
