Thanks to it’s Helical Cutterhead this machine offers low operating costs while delivering excellent cut quality on even for the toughest wood materials.

Helical Cutterhead is equipped 56 long lasting carbine inserts which last’s up to 40 times longer than standard HSS 18% blades. Each insert has four cutting edges so if one edge of the insert gets damaged you can simply turn the insert with the supplied Torx wrench and get back to work in seconds. Carbine inserts doesn’t need to be sharpened or adjusted which saves time and money.

Switching from jointing to thicknessing can be done in under 20 seconds without the need of tools. Just release the quick-release levers on the front of the jointing table and after that you can then lift both tables up with one hand. Next, you just need to flip the dust hood over the cutter and you can start using the thicknesser. The conversion from thicknessing to jointing is done in reverse order just as easily and quickly without tools.

Jet JPT-310HH comes assembled with pre-installed carbide inserts. Only fence and cutter guard needs to be assembled.
