The Jet DDS-225 Dual Drum Sander is a heavy-duty, professional solution designed for high-precision finishing, levelling and calibration of solid wood panels, furniture components, and building materials. Built for continuous industrial use this machine combines exceptional power, accuracy and productivity in one robust package.

At its core is a powerful 5700W motor, delivering consistent torque for demanding workloads and uninterrupted production. With a maximum sanding width of 635 mm and an impressive sanding thickness range from 0.8 to 133 mm the DDS-225 easily handles both delicate finishing tasks and heavy material removal.

The DDS-225 uses a dual-drum configuration where the front drum can be fitted with a coarser abrasive for effective stock removal, while the rear drum performs fine finishing thanks to its independent micro-setting. This design allows planing and finishing in a single pass which can dramatically increasing workflow efficiency.

The rubber-textile conveyor belt, driven by an independent motor with a two-speed gearbox, ensures smooth, controlled feed. Three pressure rollers hold the workpiece firmly against the conveyor belt, guaranteeing uniform thickness and safe operation.

Efficient dust management is provided by two 100 mm dust extraction outlets, keeping the working environment clean and extending abrasive life.

Designed for ease of use the sanding belt is fast and easy to change in under 2 minutes without any tools. With the machine you can use pre-cut sanding belts or you can easily cut right size of strips from a rollo de papel de lija.
