Whether you’re a professional woodturner or a hobbyist, this chuck kit offers the flexibility and precision needed for superior craftsmanship.
- Step Jaws: Feature serrated edges both inside and outside, offering excellent versatility by combining the functionality of standard dovetail jaws and pin jaws. These jaws provide a secure grip on a range of woodturning projects.
- Wide Jaws: With serrated edges on both the interior and exterior, these jaws are designed to handle larger workpieces, making them ideal for projects that require a wider grip than standard jaws can provide.
- Pin Jaws: Specifically designed for holding smaller workpieces, pin jaws feature a smooth and parallel interior for delicate handling, while the serrated exterior ensures a firm grip.
- 5″ Flat Jaws: Commonly used for remounting finished bowls to reshape the exterior or remove unwanted marks. They come with two sets of eight rubber-coated fittings in 13mm and 17mm lengths to securely hold your workpiece.
- Dovetail Jaws: These jaws can grip a workpiece either internally or externally, offering flexibility depending on the size and shape of the project. They are suitable for pieces ranging from 41mm to 80mm.
- Woodworm Screw: Ideal for the temporary mounting of bowls, allowing you to securely attach the workpiece during the initial stages of turning.
