Baileigh BG-679 Industrial Belt Sander

The Baileigh BG-679 is a heavy-duty industrial belt grinder designed for demanding workshop environments where power, durability, and efficiency matter.

This three-phase (400V) machine is driven by a powerful 4 hp motor, capable of handling continuous heavy grinding tasks with ease. The large 2000 mm x 152 mm (6”) belt allows for faster material removal and increased productivity compared to smaller grinders.

Built using premium materials throughout, the BG-679 features a solid billet aluminium main drive wheel for long service life, while the polyurethane-wrapped aluminium front idler wheel delivers smooth operation and an excellent grinding finish.

An integrated dust extraction system with a powerful vacuum motor helps capture metal dust at source, keeping both the machine and your workshop cleaner and safer during operation.

The grinder’s robust frame is constructed from folded and fully welded heavy-gauge steel, providing exceptional rigidity and reduced vibration. A hinged top cover allows the machine to be used in a flat grinding configuration, making it ideal for castings and flat components.
